With every art installation I embark upon, it is my goal to connect myself and others to the nature that exists within human-kind. In my work lies a deep reverence for the natural world and a desire for planetary and individual wellness.
Orlando, Florida serves as the current base for most of my projects. Every creation is inspired by my connection to the world around me. My desire to create from a place of emotion arose out of a need for healing and a realization that making something is a way of alchemizing heartache into beauty. I fell in love with the poetry of painting and have been pouring my heart into art ever since coming into this way of self-healing. Time after time, art helps me move from a place of helplessness into empowerment; I believe this is medicine we could all use. By sharing my art and my process with others, I know that I can help others to also change their perspectives and shift the circumstances of their life into a more supportive and uplifting place. There is a hope that exists deep within each piece that I create; a hope that inspires others to vision a more beautiful world for themselves and all of humanity.

Immerge
Immerge is a space that invites us to feel safe and nurtured, to celebrate, and to reawaken to the beauty of the small things. Because when we nurture ourselves, we can walk in the world knowing that we are an essential part of it all.
Immerge was a three night community event held at the Living Vitalitea Kombucha Brewery in Orlando, FL. Each nights guests were led through a meditative, immersive art experience that explored the delicacy, strength, and mystery of the human experience.
The accompanying video highlights the performance portion of the evening. Immerge, however was a multi-media experience with something to delight every one of the senses.
As guests arrived, they were greeted by a cosmic guide. They began by walking through an outdoor installation that told the personal story of a local artist’s journey from abuse to self-love, serving as a metaphor for the journey from harshness into one of loving-kindness. The installation ended in a large enclosed outdoor area where guests could relax on couches and chairs, drink kombucha, and get to know the people they would be journeying with for the rest of the night.
As the sun went down, guests were invited to travel through another installation inspired by the beauty and transformative power of the female genitalia to enter into the cosmic womb. Our lighting and music artist created the perfect ambiance while our performers told the birth story through improvisational dance.
The night ended with the opportunity for guests to explore several other multimedia installations located in different areas around the warehouse.
The creation of Immerge was a massive labor of love and a night that will not be forgotten.
